Adiós howlin' belts
I have an old '86 Jeep CJ7 and her belts were howling like a coyote stuck in a cholla. So I ordered this stuff on Amazon. It shipped and arrived way faster than normal even though it had free shipping...I guess because it shipped from the manufacturer, not the big A.
Upon spraying it on the belts (covering both the interior and exterior portions of the belts) the howling went away and now she sounds smoooooth....a ludda-ludda-ludda got her hummin' like a souped-up Chevy.
This stuff works.
Stopped my squealing after one use.
My alternator belt has been squealing and breaking. This has happened 3 or 4 times.
Each time the squealing would get progressively worse and then the belt would snap.
Got my belt replaced again and of course it starts squealing again.
I tried this as a last ditch effort and to my surprise the squealing has stopped.
Obviously I need a better mechanic but for what it's worth this product worked for me.
If this lasts then the stuff will have paid for itself.
Really does work the best
I have used many other belt conditioners, to include CRC's, and this one is the best, bar none. It immediately quieted my belts and has offered continued quiet for the last several weeks in ultra-humid Florida summer weather.
I am very pleased. If this doesn't quiet your belts, you need new belts or a new belt-tensioner. I actually DO need a new belt tensioner, but this Gunk product has staved-off that maintenance for now (belt still looks healthy). Buy with confidence.
